There is hope for turkey season.

Well I have to say that month flew by!  It seems like we were just talking about the February pics when I realized today was the last day of the month so I ran out to retrieve the memory cards.  Some of the photos were the same raccoons, opossum, Fox Squirrels, coyotes, and young deer that we seem to have an abundance of.

However, there were a few surprises.  Our mangy coyote did not appear at all this month, so perhaps he finally moved onto greener pastures.  We had no fox sightings, and they had been a regular visitor.  And we had at least two deer that were still holding antlers, not unheard of but it is getting late for them.  This little buck had both antlers on March 10th…

…but seems to have lost one of them by March 19th.

Also found this larger buck still with one antler on March 21.

Deer With One Antler Late in Season

With spring turkey season just weeks away, I was anxious to see whether or not I would find a few more turkeys on the cameras.  I was not disappointed as we did have a flock of turkeys spend the better part of the day posing for one of the cameras.

So another month with no bobcat or armadillo – its only a matter of time I keep telling myself.  As always, feel free to share your best game camera pic from the month in the comments below.

Thanks for reading!
