You never know what you might find…

For some reason, I am obsessed with game cameras.  Every time I retrieve a card and upload the photos, I am as giddy as a kid at Christmas.  I only monitor a few cameras, and the quality is average at best.  In an effort to slow the spread of Chronic Waste Disease in Missouri among the deer population, the Missouri Department of Conservation making it illegal to feed deer in several counties.  This rule change reduces the amount of images captured not only of deer, but also other smaller mammals and birds.  But that is OK, I still have fun reviewing the results and you just never know what you might find.  Below are some of my January photos from the cameras in St. Louis County.

Small Buck

Probable Coyote

Mangy Daytime Coyote

Nice late afternoon buck.

Never saw this one when out hunting.

Either button buck or buck that recently shed antlers

The only Wild Turkey I have seen on this property all winter.

Bring your buddies back for the spring hunting season!

Unknown Wild Animal

I will try to post monthly photos of anything interesting that pops up.  Would love to see any game camera photos that you have from the last month in the comments below, I am willing to bet that many of you have more interesting ones that I do this go around.
