I FINALLY FOUND A HIKE I LIKE!

When we got to Elephant Rocks I was very tired but ready for the trail at the same time.  I typically don’t like hiking, but thought it would be fun.  We started with a little low rocks, compared to what was coming later.

After that we went to the 120 year old ruins of an engine house!  Soon after that we saw an overlook of a lake, then we saw my favorite part of Elephant Rocks, a very high pile of rocks where we took many photos.

We went through “Fat Man’s Squeeze” and I renamed it “Fat Dad’s Squeeze”.  We finished the trail and it still isn’t the end though.  We had a snack then went to another pile of rocks and had fun there for a while.  On the way home we had Dairy Queen.  I got fries and ice cream!!  I think that day was good.

Daniel has been such an awesome participant in our family blog, always taking part in meetings and coming up with some great ideas.  When he said that he wanted to write a blog I thought it was the best idea yet.
