Katie is a college freshman this year, my first child to take the leap away from home on a regular basis. While I am thrilled for Katie, I also miss her and worry about how she is doing like any parent would. So it absolutely brightens my day to receive a text like this:
“Hi!! It was so pretty yesterday and I think it might be the last nice day that the trees are pretty so you inspired me to take a walk and take some pictures!!!!”
What great comfort knowing that my little outdoors girl is still seeking out nature in order to find peace in her busy day.
